2nd Chance Cinema Club
Giving forgotten and terrible films another roll of the dice. We plumb the depths of all the streaming services and uncover any rough diamonds deserving of another chance. Each week, Steff and Hutch pick a film to dissect and decide whether time has been kind.
2nd Chance Cinema Club
Murder, Death, Killbots: The Acolyte, Kill Command, Fall Guy, The Bikeriders, Victor Wembanyama, Jurassic Park
The boys have been busy this week. Hutch had a soggy old time in a field and watched old Steven Seagal movies, whilst Steff killed zombies with his son and watched something questionable in a dark room full of strangers.
In the news we find out what NBA stars spend their first paychecks on, who we can expect to see acting with dinosaurs, and whether we will ever get to actually bloody watch Megalopolis.
In 2nd Chance Cinema Club, we review 2016’s Kill Command and are pleasantly surprised with it. Sure it may just be Aliens with added killbots, but we find some good stuff to say regardless.
Next week sees the release of new Star Wars live action series The Acolyte, kicking off with a two parter on 4th June. So we temporarily suspend our 2nd Chance Cinema Club for a few weeks, to concentrate on actually talking about Star Wars again.
